Usage guide

Use Swing3D to inspect a motion capture session.

The app is designed for a focused workflow: open a C3D recording, apply the relevant configuration, navigate the movement, and interpret the 3D scene alongside the plotted data.

Open Swing3D

Process

A simple analysis path.

01

Prepare the session

Have the C3D recording and its matching configuration available before opening the app.

02

Load the data

Open the Swing3D app and import the motion capture file. The scene will render the marker-based movement in 3D.

03

Review frame by frame

Use the timeline controls to pause, scrub through the movement, and isolate the phase you want to inspect.

04

Compare visual and numeric data

Use the graphs and biomechanical panels to connect the movement with measurable variables.

Before opening

What to have ready.

  • A C3D motion capture file from the recording session.
  • The configuration that matches the marker setup and analysis needs.
  • A desktop or laptop browser for the best 3D inspection experience.
